How to check the water account?

Inquiries can be made through official website, WeChat official account, telephone and other city water supply companies. The account number is 7 digits on the water bill, as shown in the figure below, and the user name is the account name on the water bill. The household names of some residential areas are building numbers, and most low-rent houses are house numbers, for example, 2 buildings and 2 units 102. Please note that the user number is 7 digits, such as 20 1000 1. Moreover, the table number on the water meter is not the household number, and the household number can be viewed on the water fee notice or water fee invoice.

1985, China promulgated the "Measures for the Administration of Approved Collection of Water Fees for Water Conservancy Projects", which made specific provisions on the collection purpose, principles of approved water fee standards, collection, use and management of water fees.

The Water Law also stipulates that water supplied by water supply projects shall be paid to water supply units in accordance with regulations. The purpose of collecting water charges is to make rational use of water resources, promote water conservation and ensure the necessary operation management, overhaul and renovation costs of water conservancy projects.
