Haicheng Earthquake Monument is located on the north bank of Dabaiqiao, Haicheng City, Liaoning Province.

1February 4, 975 19: 36, a strong earthquake of magnitude 7.3 occurred in Haicheng and Yingkou, Liaoning. Before the earthquake, the local government and seismologists in Liaoning Province issued an early warning, which avoided the huge loss of people's lives and property, and was hailed as the first successful prediction of an earthquake of magnitude 7 or above.
