Overview of Jinxian Cultural District in Jinxian Town
According to the inscription of "Wenchang official inscription" on the stone tablet unearthed in Xinjie 1994, the Confucian Temple was built in the second year of Yuan Dynasty. From the Yuan Dynasty to the end of the Republic of China, it is now half of Beiya Township. Hushi Township, Zheba Township, Feast Town, Changling Township, Tushan Township, Gongxing Town and Sean Town all belong to Jin Xian area, and the ancestors in old Jin Xian area loved China traditional culture. In the center of the courtyard, there is a magnificent Kuixing Tower with three overlapping floors, with staggered halls and pavilions, upturned cornices, clear water at the entrance of the bridge, carved bluestone in the main hall, lifelike statues of gods and saints, and carved windows and eaves. In front of the temple: "lions are arranged on the pillars, and the incense burner of the lion tower spits clouds." The seven-step ladder is 500 feet, which is solemn. " Unfortunately, after the vicissitudes of the century, the house was in disrepair, the roof leaked, the roof collapsed, the corner withered, the steps collapsed, broken walls and temples were demolished, and rubble was everywhere. It's ruined, almost ruined. In 2006, the "Jin Xian Old Association" established the "Collection Group for the Restoration of the Confucian Temple". Colleagues of the fund-raising team traveled all over their hometown, collecting money from people who are enthusiastic about this cause, asking celebrities who are far away for help, and borrowing money from credit cooperatives, raising more than 100 thousand yuan. Jia Qingwa thoroughly overturned the house, repaired the new wall except the residual wall, repaired the floor and ceiling, repaired the eaves of the steps, repaired the main hall of the front hall, bought camphor wood, repaired the antique doors and windows of the East and West Cloisters, cast incense burners, built forest of steles, and repaired the statues of Shishi Qilin, Plastic Kong Sheng, Wenchang and Kuixing. Although there are no crowns, harps, cars and books, it is enough to reflect the temple. Jinxian Confucian Temple is the cradle of Jinxian culture and a monument in the history of Jinxian culture.
2) Dengxian Temple
Dengxian Temple is a place where people burn lanterns to practice. People build temples to pray and light lanterns. These temples have been repaired and rebuilt many times for thousands of years. After liberation, the storage capacity of Jin Xian grain depot was insufficient, so Dengxian Temple was designated as a grain depot to store grain. 1986 Jinxian Grain Depot built an accommodation building, and the wood was extremely expensive, so Dengxian Temple was demolished. In the early 1980s, residents, institutions and schools in the town planted more than 30,000 trees in Dengxian Temple, plus more than 60 surviving cypress trees, which had already covered the ground in cages and had a pleasant scenery. 1988, Jinxianchang Town, talented people, *** 16 people formed the "Preparatory Group for the Restoration of Dengxian Temple Cultural Relics and Monuments" to clean up the ruins and rubble. Build flower beds, plant flowers and grass, set up stone tables and benches, clean the pool, add fences, expand the winding path of sand and stone into hundreds of stone ladders, and then build mountain gates and gazebo temples. Build a bypass road leading to the top of the mountain. In 2008, Master Guangxiang presided over the temple and was particularly persistent. The magnificent "Hall of Great Heroes" has been built, and today's Dengxian Temple attracts tourists, which is not what it used to be.
③ "Wu Temple"
"Wu Temple" is located at the south foot of Dengxian Temple, which is a courtyard of four in one. On both sides of the stone ladder in front of the temple, there are two big stone lions living on the stone pier. On the roof of the temple, birds and animals hang from the eaves. The middle of the stairs in front of the main hall is six feet wide and five feet high, carved with a back stone, and the faucet is two feet high. 1963 when I was in high school, I used to ride a dragon's neck to play. The essence of its sculpture is the treasure of cultural relics, but it was destroyed in the "poverty" of the Cultural Revolution. Since 192 1, Jin Xian Primary School has been established in Wumiao, where all the descendants of Jin Xian should study. There are still six standing houses in the present site.
(4) The Temple of Fire
On the east side of the middle section of Jinxianchang Old Street, there is a "Temple of Fire", also known as "Sansheng Palace", which is a loft-style quadrangle. The buildings around the courtyard are bright and beautiful, such as Wu Temple. It is the place where Jin Xian worships the Emperor (Vulcan). Later, because Jinxian was the capital of Shu to Brazil, Guan Yu was portrayed as sacrificing his loyal soul. After liberation, the food industry here was run by enterprises for many years. In the 1990 s, the business disintegrated and was sold to residents. Now it is converted into street houses by residents.
5) Antique "Ancient Theater"
In the middle of the old street in Jin Xian, there is a broad slate street, and there is an "ancient theater" near the narrow street in Shang Jie, which is also the top of the gossip. Exquisite decoration, carved and painted buildings, antique, destroyed by 1959, the third group of Houju Committee borrowed the warehouse to build a new theater, which was sold to Jin Xian business when the large group disintegrated, and then sold to residents when the business disintegrated. Today, residents have rebuilt street houses.
6) Slate Street
According to Liu Guangzong, a resident of Jinxianchang, Jinxian's "Slate Street" was built by Yuan Zexun, general manager of Jinxianchuan in 22 years of the Republic of China. At that time, every household in Jin Xian gave money and food. Those who didn't pay were chained to the township office, and more than 300 masons were organized to build them with high quality and high specifications. The total length is about 500m, and the width of the middle street is12m to15m. The sides are low and the middle is slightly higher. Elegant format, beautiful and generous. Unfortunately, during the construction of market towns in the 1980s, building materials were towed away, and vehicles were crushed into pieces and damaged. In 2000, all residents hardened into cement streets at their own expense.
7) The "Queen Mountain" with a long history
Two kilometers east of Jinxianchang, there is the "Queen Mountain", a county key cultural relics protection unit. There are thousands of ancient cypresses on the mountain, which are state-owned forests. Because of the majestic mountain, it is also called Hutou Mountain. There is a cypress tree on the top of the hill. Its branches are weeping willows, its stems are as thick as rocks, and it is straight and tall. There are three dry villages and one water village, just like the military seat of the Kingoma Railway. Legend has it that Zhang Lanxian, the second daughter of Zhang Fei, was the queen of the former Lord of Shu. She heard that Wargo had sneaked into Yin Ping to get Jiangyou and quickly returned to Chengdu. On the way, I heard that Chengdu fell, and the first Lord voted for Wei, and the queen hanged herself in shame. She was buried in this mountain. Later generations remembered the ambition of the queen and set up a temple to offer sacrifices. There is Kannonji on the top of the mountain, Confucius Temple on the second floor, and Daxiong Hall under the dam. 195 1 year, three temples and halls were demolished. In the 1990s, villagers raised funds to restore cultural relics and historic sites. Today, a main hall has been built in Queen Mountain, and the road leads directly to the top of the mountain. During holidays and spring outing, people keep going sightseeing.
Eight), Baita site
"Baita Mountain" on the west side of the Confucian Temple has the site of Baita. The White Pagoda is named for its white color. It should have been built in the Northern Wei Dynasty when Jinxian led three counties. It's too old to be verified, but the Baita site adds mystery to the history of Jin Xian.
Nine), Xihe "Guandu Bridge"
The Guandu Bridge in Xihe River is also called Jianyang Bridge and Goldfish Bridge. What can be proved is that in the ancestral home of Luojiajiao, Dashun Village, Jin Xian Town, there is a tombstone that reads: "The old Jinshi is afraid of reflecting on Jing Yi, Sichuan ... Jin Xian Dacheng Hall, Xihe Jinyu Bridge, was the first to donate money, and my son used it to mediate. Why did his achievements start? Alas, the two places have been operating for a lifetime, and where there is a will, there is a way. " In the preface to recommending Confucianism, a stone tablet in the fifteenth year of Daoguang in Confucius Temple, the names of the participants are Luo Yingchuan and Jianyang Bridge in Xihe, and the stone tablet also records Luo Yingchuan's deeds in managing and repairing the bridge. At that time, during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty, the stone tablet was cut into three pieces by the villagers of Xihe Village at the end of last century and made into cornices. Guandu Bridge is nearly 40 feet long and 8 feet wide, and consists of 26 bridges. The pier is made of huge stones, one foot long, three feet wide at the bottom, two feet and four feet wide at the top and two feet thick. Every hole in the bridge deck is covered with two rows of huge stone slabs, which are more than four feet long and two or three feet thick. In the era of backward productivity, such a huge bridge project is an unprecedented masterpiece both inside and outside the county. However, the old and new county records of Jiange have no identity. The ancestors of old Jin Xian paid great efforts and sweat for the construction of the bridge. According to Pu, an old man from Xihe Village, on May 1958 and 18, the timber collected by the timber company in the upper reaches of the bridge was trafficked to Nanchong to support Nanchong's construction. Three miles of timber piled up by the river was washed into the river by the flood, and ten holes were washed away in the middle of the stone bridge. In 1980s, after the completion of Zhong Sheng Reservoir, the bridge was still 30 meters underwater.
10) There are many temples.
Jincheng Temple and Long Yuan Temple in Jincheng. There are many temples and ancestral halls of various clans, such as Shuiying Temple, Longwang Temple and Kannonji, which cannot be listed one by one. Most of them were destroyed during the Great Leap Forward, the Cultural Revolution and the Great Assembly, and now some of them have been restored, such as Jincheng Temple, Longwang Temple and Kannonji.
Jin Xian's intangible cultural heritage: 1) Confucianism-worshipping society.
The inscription "Preface to Recommend Confucianism" in Jinxian Confucian Temple reads: "... raise money to live." The "Confucianism Worship Association" will lend the raised funds to expand the sources of funds. For the teachers employed by private schools around the region, it is stipulated that the annual salary of teachers should be subsidized by 2000, and the tuition (tuition) should be provided by the owners (parents). Establish reward standards for students who have achieved fame after graduation. There are also "township primary school associations" in villages around the country. The "township primary school association" also rewards graduates. Celebrations such as "Wearing Bonus" were also held for graduates. As a non-governmental organization that develops education, the "Confucianism Worship Association" has played a decisive role in the education promotion in Jinxian County. What should be inherited and carried forward should be declared as intangible cultural heritage. 2) Jin Xian plays.
During the period of the Republic of China, fans in the town often got together, and drummers conducted the scene of beating gongs and drums and singing bench plays, which was called playing friends. During the New Year, the "Wenchang Club" on February 14th, the "Guanyin Club" in March, June and September, and other festivals, troupes come here to perform. Jin Xian has a saying: "Jin Xian, born stubborn, is busy singing and playing tricks". After liberation, Jin Xianchuan's talent for drama doubled, and during the Cultural Revolution, he performed Sha Jiabin, Taking the Tiger Mountain Outward and The Red Lantern. The acting level is very high and praised. After the reform and opening up, Jinxianchang Town established Jinxianchuan Amateur Troupe, which performed at the county level in 198 1 and won the prize. He was invited to perform in surrounding towns and villages many times, which made him famous for a while. Nowadays, most of the performers are old, so it is urgent to save this intangible cultural heritage. 3) Jin Xian's Lantern in the Field.
Tianjia in Baiya Village and Shuanghe Village of Jinxian Town has a traditional dragon lantern (lantern) performance skill, which originated in the Tang Dynasty and prevailed in Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan in the Song Dynasty. At present, there are only 17 sheds in the north of Sichuan, namely Jiange, and Tian's Dragon Lantern in Jin Xian Town has the most complete information, with 32 performances, 48 performances and 50 vocals. The lampstand and performers are mainly Tian, with 54 to 62 people performing. The performance can last for 6 hours, and it is original and belongs to the folk cultural and artistic heritage of China. 1963—— 1965, many large-scale performances were performed in our district during the Spring Festival. In the Spring Festival of 2007, the "Sunset Red Art Troupe" set up by Jinxian Town "Committee on Aging" cooperated with Tian to rehearse lanterns, and performed once in Jinxian Field and Gongxing Field respectively, but it was shelved because there was no fund to pay the labor fee. This intangible cultural heritage is also in urgent need of rescue.
