The Property Decoration Management Regulations stipulates the decoration time, such as quiet operation on weekends and holidays, with the usual quiet operation time of 7: 00- 12: 00 and the indoor decoration activity time of residential buildings of 14:30- 19: 00.

Article 47 of the Law on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Noise Pollution in People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that indoor decoration activities in residential buildings that have been delivered for use shall be limited in operation time and other effective measures shall be taken to reduce and avoid environmental pollution to surrounding residents.
