Provisions on the administration of fire hydrants in residential areas

Legal analysis: 1. Fire hydrants should be located in obviously accessible places, such as walkways and stairs. The distance between fire hydrants should ensure that the water guns of the two fire hydrants can enrich the water column at any part of the same floor.

2. The water gun of fire hydrant shall be determined by hydraulic calculation, and the height of high-rise building with no more than 100m shall not be less than 10m.

3. High-rise buildings whose building height exceeds 100m should not be less than 13m.

4. The fire hydrant spacing should be determined by calculation, and the high-rise building should not be greater than 30m and the podium should not be greater than 50m.

5. The new Code for Fire Protection Design stipulates that residential buildings with a height greater than 2 1 m need to be equipped with fire hydrants with a protection radius of 30 meters.

Legal basis: Article 5 of the Regulations on Property Management. The State Council construction administrative department is responsible for the supervision and management of the national property management activities. The real estate administrative departments of local people's governments at or above the county level shall be responsible for the supervision and management of property management activities within their respective administrative areas.
