Nanjing Jiangnan Silk Culture Museum is a free venue.

Nanjing Jiangnan Silk Culture Museum is the first professional theme museum in Nanjing to explain Jiangnan silk culture from an aesthetic point of view. It officially opened in May 2008. The museum promotes sericulture and silk culture, based on Nanjing's unique silk cultural resources, constantly excavates the connotation of various exhibits and collections, and reproduces the past lives of Jiangnan silk culture with rich expression methods.

There is a permanent exhibition hall on the theme of silk culture in the museum-the cultural and historical background and development process of sericulture silk are comprehensively introduced from four units: Silkworm Miracle, Source of Civilization, Silk Fashion, Splendid and Brilliant World, Zhifu Spring and Autumn Period, Du Nan Fan Hui and Silk Road Seal.

_ Notes for visiting:

1. The silk displayed in the museum is a precious collection. Please don't touch them. Silk fabrics are light-proof, so it is forbidden to take photos in the exhibition hall.

2. It is forbidden to bring inflammable and explosive articles and other dangerous goods into the museum, and smoking is prohibited in the museum.

3. Observe the visiting order of the museum. Please don't talk loudly, chase and fight, and consciously respect the right of others to visit.

4. Take good care of and use public facilities correctly, and consciously safeguard public health.

5. Pets are not allowed.

6. Please don't bring drinks and food into the exhibition hall. The museum provides a drinking area for the audience.

7. Those who are disheveled, drunk, mentally abnormal, incapacitated or with limited capacity are not allowed to enter the library without a guardian.

8. In case of any emergency, please obey the command of the staff.
