Article 45 of the draft measures of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Noise Pollution stipulates that,

"On legal rest days, holidays and working days 12 to 14, 18 to 8: 00 the next day, it is forbidden to carry out noise decoration and other nuisance operations in residential buildings that have been completed and delivered."
