Chengdu Aviation Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1965, and Desheng Intermediate Technical School was founded by the Third Ministry of Machinery Industry. From 1966 to 1998, the school was renamed and restructured many times, becoming the first batch of higher vocational colleges approved by the Ministry of Education in China and the first in Sichuan Province.

Architectural engineering research institute

College of Civil Engineering and Architecture is a professional teaching unit for training applied technical and management talents in civil engineering, real estate and property management industries. School of Architecture and Engineering was founded in 1982, which is an earlier department of the school. It has trained and delivered a large number of excellent first-line technical and management talents for the construction industry. The college consists of three majors: architectural engineering technology, architectural decoration engineering technology and intelligent architectural engineering technology, among which architectural engineering technology is the first batch of high-quality majors in Sichuan Province.

The college has a number of laboratories and professional training bases that can meet the needs of professional group teaching and students' practice, among which building energy-saving monitoring base and green building training base are central and local projects. The college has also established long-term cooperative relations with more than 20 well-known large and medium-sized enterprises in Sichuan Province, as well as Sichuan Construction Industry Association, Real Estate Association and Building Intelligence Association. Multi-level and multi-directional cooperation in running schools provides social practice places for professional teaching and broadens employment channels for students.

School of Information Engineering

School of Information Engineering, founded in 1978, is one of the earliest departments in the school. As the "No.1 Project" of regional economy in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, it has trained a large number of outstanding engineering talents for China aviation industry and electronic information industry. Our college offers four majors: electronic information engineering technology, applied electronic technology, computer network technology and software technology. Two national key majors, 1 national teaching team, three national excellent courses and eight provincial excellent courses have been built.

There are 55 faculty members, including 2 professors, 3 associate professors or above 13, doctors and masters accounting for more than 80%, national model teachers 1 person, experts enjoying special government allowance from the State Council 1 person, and provincial famous teachers 1 person. A first-class training base of similar colleges and universities in China has been built, with instruments and equipment worth more than 45 million yuan.

College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering

Originating from aviation, relying on aviation and serving aviation. The Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering is the earliest teaching department in the school. Up to now, nearly 10,000 manufacturing engineers and technicians have been trained for the aviation industry and society. It is the most distinctive and competitive provider of manufacturing higher vocational education in China, and also the most influential advanced manufacturing technology training institution. In recent years, it has successively won the titles of "Advanced Collective of National Education System" and "Advanced Grassroots Party Organization in Sichuan Province".

At present, the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering offers five majors, including numerical control technology, mold design and manufacturing, electrical automation technology, aviation material precision molding technology and industrial robot technology, with more than 570 students/kloc-0.

Civil aviation transportation college

The development goal of Civil Aviation Transportation College is to meet the training needs of aviation enterprises and high-end service industries in Southwest China and the whole country, and the main development direction is civil aviation transportation specialty. At present, there are flight attendants, air transport (Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools) (flight attendants), civil aviation air safety and security, logistics management and other majors and directions.

At present, the on-campus training base has more than ten training rooms, including Boeing 737 aircraft, simulated cabin, professional software, professional image building, simultaneous interpretation, logistics integration, ground service, security check, tea ceremony, VIP reception, Chinese and western meals, and has established off-campus training bases in major airlines, airports and major logistics enterprises in Chengdu.

General aviation college

General Aviation College is one of the most aviation colleges in the school. Keep up with the development of general aviation industry and cutting-edge technology, carry out research on applied technology, and cultivate professionals who are in short supply in UAV application technology, general aircraft maintenance, general aviation navigation technology, helicopter driving technology and fixed-wing aircraft driving technology.

It has established close ties with China People's Liberation Army, Armed Police Force, Aviation Industry Group, domestic general aviation companies and other high-quality aviation enterprises and institutions; Directional training for helicopter maintenance officers of the Armed Police Force and UAV application technical officers of the China People's Liberation Army; Students have obvious employment advantages.
