Jiangmen No. 1 Middle School stipulates how long it takes to take sick leave before applying for suspension of study

Generally, students will be advised to take a leave of absence if it exceeds three months.

First of all, asking for leave and suspending schooling are two different concepts. Usually the school will recommend that you go through the formalities of suspending schooling for up to three months. In principle, suspension of study should be processed within the first week after the start of each semester, and the suspension of study lasts for one year. Procedure for suspension of study:

1. Due to illness, the student will receive diagnosis opinions and suspension of study suggestions from the school hospital. The student shall submit a written application to the college and fill in the application form for suspension of study.

2. After approval by the leaders of the college (department), submit it to the Academic Affairs Management Office of the Academic Affairs Office.

3. After review, the Academic Affairs Management Office of the Academic Affairs Office will issue a notice of departure to those who meet the conditions for suspension of study.

4. Students should complete the departure procedures with the departure notice.

5. Students should go to the teaching office of the college to receive the certificate of suspension of study and go home to recuperate with the completed departure notice.
