Hyundai Motor Group may take over Beijing Hyundai’s second factory

Not long ago, Xiaomi Motors was officially registered in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, and its registered address is Room 816, Floor 8, Building 5, No. 15, Kechuang 10th Street, Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, Beijing. The business scope of Xiaomi Automobile Co., Ltd. is: manufacturing of new energy vehicles; technology research and development of complete vehicles and parts; research and development of motors and their control systems; technical services, technology development, technical consultation, technology exchange, technology transfer, and technology promotion etc.

Beijing Hyundai has five passenger car production bases in China: Beijing Shunyi No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 factories, Cangzhou factory and Chongqing factory, with a total annual production capacity of 1.65 million vehicles. Among them, there are reports that Li Auto has acquired the first factory and has started recruitment and reconstruction work. Regarding Beijing Hyundai's second factory's contact with several manufacturers such as Xiaomi, the official has not yet given a response, and we will continue to pay attention.
