Anyone who meets the requirements of the Notice of the former Ministry of Personnel and the State Administration of Pharmaceutical Products on Printing and Distributing the Interim Provisions on the Qualification System of Licensed Pharmacists and the Implementation Measures for the Qualification Examination of Licensed Pharmacists (No.34 [1999]) can sign up for the qualification examination of licensed pharmacists on 20 17.

(a) to participate in the general (four subjects) examination conditions

People's Republic of China (PRC) citizens and persons of other nationalities who are allowed to work in China meet one of the following conditions, and may apply for taking the licensed pharmacist qualification examination:

1. Obtain technical secondary school education in pharmacy, traditional Chinese medicine or related major, and have worked in pharmacy or traditional Chinese medicine for 7 years.

2. Obtain a college degree in pharmacy, traditional Chinese medicine or related majors, and have been engaged in pharmacy or traditional Chinese medicine for 5 years.

3. Obtain a bachelor's degree in pharmacy, traditional Chinese medicine or related major, and have been engaged in pharmacy or traditional Chinese medicine for 3 years.

4. Obtain a second bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Chinese medicine or related majors, graduate from a postgraduate class or obtain a master's degree, and have been engaged in pharmacy or Chinese medicine for 1 year.

5. Obtain a doctorate in pharmacy, Chinese medicine or related majors.

(2) Exemption conditions for some subjects

In accordance with the relevant provisions of the state, those who are employed in senior professional and technical positions and meet one of the following conditions may be exempted from taking two subjects: Pharmacy (Chinese Pharmacy) Professional Knowledge (I) and Pharmacy (II), and only take pharmacy management and regulations and comprehensive knowledge and skills.

1. Apprentice of traditional Chinese medicine, graduated from technical secondary school majoring in pharmacy or traditional Chinese medicine, and has been engaged in pharmacy or traditional Chinese medicine for 20 years.

2. Obtain a college degree or above in pharmacy, traditional Chinese medicine or related majors, and have been engaged in pharmacy or traditional Chinese medicine for over 15 years.
