According to Baidu Encyclopedia, Shenzhen Pingshan belongs to Longgang District, but it is not a street in Longgang District, but an independent urban area with its own government and administrative agencies, which are independently responsible for urban construction and social management within Pingshan. Pingshan District, established on June 30th, 2009, is one of the four new districts established in Shenzhen. Located in the northeast of Shenzhen, it is adjacent to Huizhou in the east, Dapeng New District in the south and Yantian District in the west, with a total area of 166 square kilometers. Pingshan District is the main settlement of Hakka people entering Shenzhen, and it is also the main birthplace and inheritance place of Hakka culture in Shenzhen. There are Hakka enclosed houses such as Dawen Shiju and Longtian Shiju.
