Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Co., Ltd. is a state-owned enterprise owned by China Petrochemical Co., Ltd. Its predecessor was Zhejiang Refinery, which was founded in 1975. Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Company was established after the overall reorganization of 1994 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Taking advantage of Ningbo's superior geographical advantages and developed market conditions in East China, the company has developed from a small refinery with a capacity of 2.5 million tons/year to the largest refinery in China.
