Has the Zhang Hao Passage been completed?

Not yet. On April 23rd, Jiangsu Environmental Protection Public Network released the second public announcement of environmental impact assessment of Zhanghao River crossing project.

According to the public notice, the estimated time is as follows: Zhang Hao River Crossing Channel will be started in February 202165438+,and will be completed and opened to traffic in February 202665438+.

Zhang Hao river-crossing passage is a newly-built super-large river-crossing bridge construction project, which is located in Zhangjiagang City, Jingjiang City and Rugao City, with a total length of 28.3km, and the main bridge is located 27.5km downstream of Jiangyin Yangtze River Bridge. It is one of the 42 river-crossing passages (including those already built and under construction) in the urban system planning of Jiangsu Province (20 15-2030).

The starting point of Zhang Hao River Crossing Channel is located at the west side of Chenzhong Village, Yang Shezhen, Zhangjiagang, at the intersection of Zhangjiang Shugang Expressway. Route northward along the planning and current situation S259, cross Feng Gang Highway and Jiang Yan Highway, enter the mainstream of the Yangtze River on the west side of Zhanghao Qidu, pass through Minzhu Sand (Jingjiang Mazhou Island), enter Rugao Zhongzhi, and land at Rugao Huatai Heavy Industry Factory. The route turns to the northwest, crosses S356 and passes through the east side of Rugao Dongsheng Stone Industry Park.

Zhang Hao River Crossing Passage is expected to start in February 20021year and be completed and opened to traffic in February 2026.

This project adopts the standard design of expressway, and the carriageway of river-crossing section adopts two-way eight lanes, with the design speed of100 km/h.

The carriageway of the connecting section adopts two-way six lanes, and the design speed is120km/h. ..
