For so many years, we have been saying that designers are not artists, but now many children who have just entered the industry or even worked for several years ask themselves, isn't it the job of artists? You may complain about this industry, why it is difficult to find a job, is it saturated? So tell me, which occupation in China is not saturated? Do it.

In the final analysis, it is still in the ability structure. We should make ourselves stronger and stronger. I think we should get rid of the "artistic" mentality first. If a company wants to recruit artists, it must be the salary and expectation of artists. But if you recruit a UI designer, you have to develop in the direction of a designer. Now I do have a lot of companies with the recruitment needs of UI designers, such as Ali and Tencent. Do you have the confidence to hold on? If so, no problem, go ahead and do it. If not, what is the problem? I should be considered a senior in this industry. When I first entered the business, I wanted to popularize why I needed UI and why I needed UI design. I may not like what I said, but I see many young people still going astray and constantly finding reasons for themselves.

If everything is the problem of the big environment, industry or others, then you might as well change careers. When you really want to change careers, you will find that the work of the Internet has been very good in all walks of life. Too many people will only look for reasons outside, not inside. The threshold will be higher and higher, not that the UI is getting harder and harder to do, but that this job should be like this. This is a professional job, and you should constantly sharpen your own reduction. Future UI designers need more specific and comprehensive abilities, or we can say that they are full link designers in a narrow sense. What does UI design do? In many people's eyes, UI design is to draw icons and interfaces, and it is also painting, so all kinds of training are also taught according to painting. This was really possible in the past, because at that time, the field of UI design was pursuing materialization and realism, and the visual effect was very heavy, so the requirements for "painting" were relatively high. But now, I have discussed with many top designers and design team leaders in the industry, and everyone has generally given feedback. Now the recruitment standards have changed.

A simple UI designer (only with pure visual skills) will find it difficult to find a good job in the next two or three years.
