How did the name "inaction" come from?

The origin of the name "Wuwei": Zhou is the land of Yongzhou, which was occupied by Xirong before the Spring and Autumn Period, and the Yue family stationed troops in the pasture. Six years before Emperor Wendi of the Western Han Dynasty (BC 174), the Huns occupied Hexi. In the second year of Emperor founding ceremony (12 1 years ago), Huo Qubing defeated the Huns. In order to show the martial arts and military strength of the Han empire, the government of the Western Han Dynasty set up Wuwei County in the former King of Hugh Land, hence the name Wuwei.

Today, Wuwei has stood at the forefront of the motherland's opening up and development to the west, seized the strategic opportunity of "One Road and One Belt", accelerated the construction of land ports in Gansu, made full use of the "channel" of Hexi Corridor, improved the level of external development, and showed the world an ancient and brand-new charm.

Wuwei City is located at the intersection of Loess Plateau, Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Mongolia-Xinjiang Plateau. The terrain is high in the west and low in the east, and the local terrain is complex. The terrain can be divided into three areas. The elevation of South Qilian Mountain is 2100-4,800 meters, which is northwest-southeast, with cool climate and abundant precipitation, which is beneficial to the development of forestry and animal husbandry.

Central Plains Oasis, at an altitude of 1450 m-2 100 m, is an important production base of grain, oil, fruits and vegetables in the whole province and the whole country.

The northern desert area is about 1300m above sea level, which is dry with little rain and abundant sunshine. It is the main producing area of psammophytes and precious medicinal materials. Kawazhang, the highest peak of Tianzhu Lenglongling, is located in the northwest of the county, with an altitude of 4,872 meters, and Baiting Sea, the lowest point, is located in the north of Minqin County, with an altitude of 1.020 meters.
