Origin of Geili Village in Zhiquanpu Town, Liangshan County

Li's ancestors moved to this village from Hongdong, Shanxi. Lilai Village is a village under the jurisdiction of Xuji Town, Liangshan County, Jining City, Shandong Province. It is located in the Huanghuai Plain in the southwest of Shandong Province. During the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty (1403- 1424), Li Zu moved to this village from Hongdong, Shanxi, and was named Li Lai. Lilai Village is mainly cultivated land, with fertile land and continental monsoon climate. The annual average temperature is 13.5℃, the rainfall is 60 1mm, and the frost-free period is 205 days, which is suitable for the growth of many plants such as grain, cotton, oil, radish and fruit.
