Xinjiang University Application Guide

Xinjiang University is a national key university, one of the first batch of national "211 Project" key construction universities, and the national "Central and Western Universities Comprehensive Strength Enhancement Project" construction universities. In 2017, it entered the first batch of 42 first-class universities in the country. In 2018, it was determined to be a university jointly constructed by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

The school currently has nine disciplines: philosophy, economics, law, literature, history, science, engineering, management, and art; it has 14 first-level doctoral degree-granting disciplines and 1 doctoral major. Degree authorization categories, 36 master's degree authorization first-level disciplines, and 18 master's professional degree authorization categories.

Candidates applying for the General Plan

(1) Support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, have the correct political direction, love the motherland, be willing to serve the socialist modernization drive, and abide by disciplines Abide by the law and behave well.

(2) Those who have graduated from a master's degree or have obtained a master's degree; fresh master's graduates (must graduate or obtain a master's degree before admission at the latest); those who have obtained a bachelor's degree for more than 6 years (including 6 years, Counting from the date of obtaining a bachelor's degree to the date of enrollment of a doctoral student) and reaching the same academic level as a master's degree graduate.

(3) The physical and mental health conditions comply with the regulations of the admissions unit.

(4) Have written recommendations from at least two professors (or experts with equivalent professional and technical titles) in the field of application.

(5) Those who apply for the examination with equivalent academic qualifications, in addition to meeting the conditions (1), (3), and (4), must also meet the following conditions:

①Study Complete all courses for the master's degree in the major you are applying for, submit a transcript issued by the school of further education (stamped by the graduate management department) or obtain a graduate course completion certificate.

②The undergraduate major should be the same or similar to the major applied for.

③ Have scientific research achievements that reach the academic level equivalent to a master’s degree: have published high-level research papers (first author) related to the major you are applying for in the past three years, or have published academic monographs, or have won provincial or ministerial awards and above scientific research achievements (ranked first).

6. Registration

Registration includes two stages: online registration and qualification confirmation.
