Tongji Middle School in Baoding has a long history, and it has been relocated three times in Baoding. 1952, Tongji Middle School was founded in Pharmacy Village, Xishucheng Town, Baoding City, and then moved to Shinan Street. 1958, Tongji Middle School built a new school building on the original site of South Street, named "Baoding No.1 Middle School", and Tongji Middle School was renamed "Baoding No.2 Middle School". 1995, Tongji Middle School moved from South Street to Baoding Reconstruction Center, located at the southeast corner of the intersection of North Ring Road and Mancheng Street. In 2003, Tongji Middle School moved to South Ring Road, Mancheng District, Baoding.
