When she was seven years old, her family arranged a "baby marriage" for her. She once asked her mother, what is engagement? Her mother told her that she had found a man for her. After she grew up and went to school, she expressed her opposition to arranged marriages to her mother many times and insisted on making her own decisions. Due to her firm resistance and the teacher's negotiation, the other party finally agreed to terminate the engagement... The "May 4th Movement" was like a thunder that shook the night sky in China.

She secretly borrowed progressive books and periodicals such as "New Youth" from her classmates and read them eagerly... She was elected president of the school's Student Government Association and vice president of the East Sichuan Student Association. She organized a propaganda team to carry out patriotic propaganda and opened a night school for civilians, and she was elected as the principal.

At this time, Chen Yusheng, a well-known progressive figure in the education circle in eastern Sichuan, and others held a "Summer Lecture Society" and hired several members of the "Young China Society" to give lectures. Many people from this society later became famous leaders in the early days of the Communist Party of China. Fuguang, who was 18 years old, participated in this study. Deng Zhongxia was the guide for the restoration of the country and the path to revolution. Fuguang admired him very much and regarded him as his elder. The classmates died, Mr. Qu Qiubai was wanted, and the teachers and students were kicked out of the school... However, strikes, classes, and markets broke out all over the country. Anti-imperialist anger was rising, and telegrams of support were sent from the provinces. Fu Guang worked day and night without fear or fatigue.

She received a notice from the National Federation of Students, asking her to carry out revolutionary propaganda in schools and factories in the mainland. She became one of the representatives of the "Yangtze River Road", and her task was to carry leaflets along the Yangtze River. Going back further, he organized mass rallies in various cities to propagate the revolution, expose the atrocities of imperialism, and raise funds from the business community to support the striking workers in Shanghai. She went to Nanjing, Wuhu, Anqing, Jiujiang, Wuhan, Changsha, Yichang, Shashi, Chongqing and other large and medium-sized cities.
