The core components of Weiwei are concentrated in the core three-electricity part of electric vehicles. The motor and electric control system in the three power parts are completed by Wei Ran Power, a subsidiary, and the battery pack part is completed by Suzhou Zhengliwei.

In the new force of making cars, motor systems are generally purchased from mature systems in the market, rather than independently developed assets. For example, Weimar Automobile and Xpeng Motors all purchase precision electric permanent magnet synchronous motors. Of course, this integration level is still lower than that of Tesla Model 3.

EDS electric drive system:

EDS electric drive system is the core system of new energy vehicle, and its performance directly determines the climbing ability, acceleration ability and maximum speed of the vehicle. EDS electric drive system consists of three parts, namely, drive motor, gear box and PEU motor controller.

Drive motor:

According to the main categories, drive motors can be divided into DC motors and AC motors. Although DC motor has good control performance, it has the disadvantages of large volume and low reliability, and is not suitable for new energy vehicles. Switched reluctance motor has excellent performance, but it is only used in a small number of construction vehicles at present because of its large vibration and noise.

At present, the mainstream motor used in new energy vehicles on the market is the permanent magnet synchronous motor in AC motor, which accounts for about 90% of the installed capacity. Some models use asynchronous induction motors. The difference between induction motor and permanent magnet synchronous motor is simple, the former has better performance and the latter has higher efficiency.
