Which company is the best for electric steering in the global steering gear industry? What types are there? The more detailed the information you can provide, the better.

Japan Guangyang Co., Ltd., also known as Japan Yangguang Co., Ltd. (now merged with Toyota Gong Ji to form Jettegert (JTEKT in English), is the leader in the global steering gear industry at present, and electric steering is also the earliest research and development.

1983, Koyo company of Japan introduced an electronically controlled hydraulic power steering system with speed sensing function. This new type of steering system can provide steering force that decreases gradually with the increase of vehicle speed, but its structure is complex, its cost is high, and it cannot overcome many shortcomings of the hydraulic system itself. It is a transitional product between hydraulic power steering and electric power steering. 1988, Suzuki Company of Japan equipped the small car Cervo with the steering column assisted electric power steering system developed by Koyo Company for the first time; 1990, Honda of Japan also adopted the self-developed rack-assisted electric power steering system on NSX, which opened the history of the application of electric power steering in automobiles.

Electric power steering system can be divided into column power, gear power, rack power, pull rod power and electro-hydraulic power according to its layout. Unmanned aircraft and driverless cars that used to appear in some sci-fi movies have now become a reality, and the steering system is also developing in a more advanced direction, such as the advanced steer-by-wire system developed by JTEKT in Japan.
