Which major is more profitable, water supply and drainage engineer, electrical engineer or HVAC engineer?

According to the proportion of these three majors in the building and my own experience (I am a HVAC engineer), I think HVAC is still relatively high! Because HVAC engineers are generally involved in water supply and drainage work!

Depending on where you are and whether there is a demand for talents in HVAC, the prospect of HVAC is still good. There are similarities between water supply and drainage and HVAC! However, in a building, its workload ratio is not very large. Many companies don't have separate water supply and drainage technicians, but they are usually served by HVAC engineers, so we call them plumbing engineers. This major is separated in larger design institutes, and the plumbing technicians in small design institutes are also part-time!

However, intelligent electrical design in modern residential and industrial buildings is also promising, such as the integration of building automation system (BAS) and intelligent residential quarters.

At present, the development of intelligent housing has the following trends:

(1) provides a high degree of safety, such as fire prevention, explosion prevention, electric shock prevention and other safety precautions. Set automatic fire alarm, gas leakage alarm, safety intercom, burglar alarm and other systems.

(2) Provide comfortable and pleasant high-grade living space and environment, such as comfortable indoor temperature and humidity, good lighting environment, suitable hot and cold water supply, etc. Automatic control of air conditioning and lighting.

③ There are enough communication facilities to meet the requirements of home office, such as telephone, fax, set-top box (STB), computer, etc.

(4) Provide colorful amateur cultural and educational life. Have good visual facilities, such as cable TV, satellite TV, teletext TV, two-way TV, stereo or home theater.

⑤ Electrical equipment and household appliances are required to realize automation and remote control. Can centrally manage energy consumption such as water, electricity and gas. , so as to achieve the purpose of energy saving.
