Brief introduction of national orchestra

Folk Orchestra is a kind of band type developed in China in modern times, which is based on China national musical instruments and then studied the compilation of western symphony orchestras. In the early years of the Republic of China, it was advocated by the government of the Republic of China, also known as the Chinese Orchestra. In Chinese mainland, it is also called folk music group or national orchestra. It is called Chinese Orchestra in Hong Kong and Chinese Orchestra in Singapore. Some people think that the more accurate name is Modern China Orchestra (English) to show the difference with the traditional ensemble in China.
