Jiuquan iron and steel Group Company decided to implement the second phase of the 2× 450,000-ton energy-saving technical transformation project of Gansu Dongxing Aluminum Co., Ltd. Restaurant Wind Power Base. The project is located in Beijia Industrial Park, Jiayuguan City, with a design capacity of 900,000 tons, a design current of 500KA and 672 electrolyzers installed. Divided into two series, each series has a production capacity of 450,000 tons. Construction started in June of 20 12, and it is planned to be electrified and put into production at the end of August of 20 13. The project will build an electrolytic production line with the highest current intensity, the largest capacity and the most advanced design in the world. The two series are divided into four electrolysis workshops, each workshop is equipped with 168 500KA electrolyzers, and four sets of purification systems are built. The dry purification and recovery technology adopted has the characteristics of high purification efficiency (up to 99.5%), simple process flow, no waste water and no secondary pollution. The concentration of pollutants discharged by the purification system is fluoride.
