Shenyang Normal University, affiliated to Liaoning Provincial People's Government, is a multidisciplinary university covering eight categories, including philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, science, engineering and management.

The school was established in 195 1. Its predecessor was Northeast Institute of Education, and 1953 was renamed shenyang normal College. Dong Chuncai, Che, and other famous educators have successively served as the main leaders of the school. 1965 was renamed Liaoning first normal college. 1978 Restore the name of shenyang normal College. In 200 1 year, the provincial government decided and approved by the Ministry of Education, shenyang normal College and Liaoning Education College merged to form Shenyang Normal University.
