According to the epidemic prevention and control requirements of Nantong City, in order to strictly implement the overall prevention and control strategy of "preventing external imports and preventing rebound internally" and protect the lives, health and safety of the general public, we hereby discuss matters related to further strengthening epidemic prevention and control work. The notice is as follows:

1. Implement an appointment system for admission. Readers entering the library must make online reservations. Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a guardian at all times before entering the library. Elderly readers (60 years old and above) and readers with disabilities do not need to make an appointment. They can register with their ID card or reader’s confirmed name.

2. Before entering the museum, readers must prepare the "health code" and "itinerary card" of the day, and have their body temperature measured on site. Only those with normal body temperature, health code, and itinerary card can enter the museum. Those who are unable to provide their health code and itinerary card, those whose health code is abnormal during inspection, whose itinerary card has an "*" on it, or whose body temperature is abnormal will be prohibited from entering or advised to return. While in the library, readers must wear masks at all times, keep a distance of 1 meter, and comply with various epidemic prevention and control regulations.

3. Readers who have difficulty using smartphones can present a valid "Personal Health Status Declaration Card" (i.e. paper version of Su Kang Code) issued by the community and an ID card (reader's card). You can only enter the museum after registering your ID, signing a "Personal Health Commitment", and having your temperature taken to be normal.

4. Our library controls the density of people entering the library in real time, strictly controls the maximum daily carrying capacity and the maximum instantaneous carrying capacity within the approved value range, and makes appropriate adjustments based on the real-time number of people in the library.

Readers are requested to actively cooperate with our library’s epidemic prevention and control regulations, improve their own protection awareness, and jointly create a hygienic, safe, and orderly reading environment.
