Guanqiao economic development

Guanqiao is also the main tea processing base in Anxi, and Anxi Tea Factory, the largest oolong tea refining factory in China, is located in Wulipu. The factory refines thousands of tons of refined tea every year, and its products sell well in more than 30 countries and regions at home and abroad, earning tens of millions of dollars in foreign exchange annually. Its famous brand product "Fengshan brand" super Tieguanyin won the national gold medal for 23 consecutive years and was designated as a special tea by Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. Anxi Shennong Tea Industry Co., Ltd. cooperated with Beijing Institute of Chinese Medicine and Fujian Pharmacology Research Center to research, test and refine Guanyin Jianwei tea with Chinese medicine. It is a national patented product, and has won the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fujian Province.
