The Medical Branch of Hubei Institute of Technology (Xiaogan Health School) focuses on secondary vocational education, and of course recruits junior high school graduates.

Medical Branch is a secondary college in hubei polytechnic institute, which mainly trains secondary medical and health personnel. Its predecessor was Xiaogan Health School, the former provincial and ministerial key middle school. The branch school has 30 faculty members/kloc-0, with more than 3,000 college students and 3,000 adult students.

Since the establishment of 1999, the Medical Department has made full use of social resources to jointly run schools with medical institutions in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Fujian and other places, and opened more than 30 off-campus practice training bases such as Huashan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University in Shanghai, Guangzhou Industrial Injury Rehabilitation Hospital and Affiliated Hospital of West China Medical University, and established long-term cooperation with more than 10 medical institutions such as Wuyi Chinese Medicine Hospital in Jiangmen, Shixin Massage Hospital in Quanzhou and Yunfu Hospital in Foshan, Guangdong.
