Development of Wendeng Railway Station

The passenger terminal building was not built at the beginning. 1July, 1998, the boiler room with a building area of196m2 was converted into a temporary passenger waiting room, ticket office and luggage room.

In order to improve passengers' riding conditions, in March, 2008, Weihai Municipal Government decided that Weihai Municipal Finance and Wendeng Municipal Finance would jointly contribute 60 million yuan (of which Weihai Municipal Finance contributed150,000 yuan) to build the waiting building of Wendeng Station. The waiting building has a total construction area of 5,852 square meters, the square area in front of the station is 1.69 million square meters, and the overall area is 28,000 square meters. There are many service departments such as ticket office, waiting room, luggage center, leisure center, station police station, office area, etc., with complete supporting facilities and complete service functions, which can provide passengers with a comfortable riding environment.

2010165438+1October 12. The waiting building was put into use. There are 5 lines in the station, including main line 1, arrival and departure line 2 and freight line 2. 1 60-ton truck scale is installed. There are two special lines: Hongan Group Co., Ltd. and Wendeng Electric Fuel Co., Ltd.
