Shenzhen Minghong takes everyone to understand the production process of etching knife molds
Shenzhen Minghong will take you to understand the production process of etching knife molds!
1. Corrosion:
The corrosion department receives the film and work order, confirms the plate thickness, knife height and material type, and then pastes the film and exposes it. After the liquid treatment, the prototype of the mold will appear. If the exposure work is not done well, the pattern needs to be repaired before it can be corroded in the etching machine. After meeting the requirements, it can be taken out. After washing away the coke deposits, it is sent to the next department. The corrosion department is a rough processing department for the mold.
2. CNC engraving
The engraving department receives the rough-machined die, and after visual inspection and confirmation, it is put into the machine for processing. Due to the difference in mold size and difficulty, the length of the knife line varies, and the production time varies. Generally, it takes 1 to 4 hours to complete the CNC machining of the mold. Special cases require 8 hours or even more than 24 hours to complete the CNC processing. After completion, the squad leader will conduct an inspection and make a preliminary determination that there are no problems before sending it to QC.
3. QC
QC is responsible for inspecting die dimensions, die blades, etc., and is responsible for making inspection reports, which are then sent to heat treatment. They are divided into two parts according to the customer's different punching materials. In this treatment method, if the material does not contain self-adhesive, it can be subjected to general heat treatment. In addition to heat treatment to increase the hardness, the self-adhesive material also needs to be coated with Teflon. Teflon can make the punched products non-stick. Knife mold, but due to the special process, Teflon plating will not affect the sharpness of the knife mold.
4. Mirror OR coating treatment
This treatment can remove the tiny lines on the side of the die blade to achieve a mirror effect, which can effectively solve the problem of burr dust brought out when the product is punched and cut. problem to make the edges of the product flat and smooth. Suitable for products with higher requirements for punching. Generally, knife molds are plated to prevent rust.
