In 2006, the College won an excellent grade in the "National Assessment of Personnel Training in Higher Vocational Colleges", passed the second assessment of personnel training by the Ministry of Education in 2010, became a model vocational college in Hunan Province in 20 12, and was successfully established as an excellent vocational college in Hunan Province in 20 16.

The college has eight secondary colleges, including nursing college, medical college, electromechanical engineering college, business logistics college, information engineering college, bio-environmental engineering college, international education college and social training college, two public teaching departments and 28 higher vocational majors.
