Loufan county belongs to Taiyuan City. It is located in the northwest of Taiyuan, in the hinterland of Luliang Mountain, in the middle and upper reaches of Fenhe River, 97km away from Taiyuan, the provincial capital, with a latitude of11'-12' and a latitude of 37 5 1'.
