Putian Timber Market, Xiuyu Timber Market, National Timber Trade and Processing Demonstration Zone and Xiuyu National Timber Trade and Processing Demonstration Zone are located in Xiuyu District, Putian City, Fujian Province (formerly Putian Salt Field). On June 5438+ 10, 2007, China Timber Circulation Association awarded the title of "China Timber Industry City".

In September, 2004, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine officially approved the establishment of imported timber quarantine and disinfestation treatment zone in Xiuyu Port, Putian City, Fujian Province, which was the first seaport timber quarantine and disinfestation treatment zone officially approved and accepted by the state in China. As a supporting project, the National Timber Trade and Processing Demonstration Zone and the Quarantine and Quarantine Zone are running simultaneously.

The demonstration area of timber trade and processing relies on Xiuyu Port, fuzhou-xiamen railway and Xiangpu Railway, radiating all over the country.

After the completion of the timber trade processing demonstration zone, it will become the only timber import processing zone approved by the state in China, and form a national distribution center for imported logs by sea.
