In 1998, "The Peony Pavilion" choreographed by Chinese-American director Chen Shizheng was staged at the Lincoln Center in the United States. The entire performance lasted for ***19 hours. I wonder who has this version on stage?

This version of the edited version can be purchased in more professional disc stores. Look for the Peony Pavilion first. It is easiest to find Bai Xianyong's version. If you search more, you may be able to find the version directed by Chen Shizheng (not the arrangement!). The performers are beauties from the Shanghai Kunqu Opera Theatre. The 19-hour version is not at Lincoln Center and includes performances in Paris, France. There are only cuts from the New York and Paris performances. Very good, I have this disc in my collection. If you really can't find it and like it very much, leave a message here and maybe I can copy it to you. Born in Xiaoshan.
