Zhejiang Quzhou Economic Development Zone Industrial Park

(1) Quzhou City has three provincial development parks.

Zhejiang Quzhou Economic Development Zone 1. It is 1992 a provincial economic development zone approved by the provincial government, with an area of nearly 50 square kilometers (including commercial and residential areas, industrial areas, streets and rural areas). The planned area is 26.5 square kilometers, and 15 square kilometers has been developed, with more than 800 enterprises of various types. The leading industries are metal products, machinery, textiles, food processing, electricity and rubber and plastic products.

2. Zhejiang Quzhou High-tech Industrial Park. It is a provincial high-tech park approved by the provincial government with a planned area of 9.8 square kilometers. The park is adjacent to the top ten chemical enterprises in China and Juhua Group, the largest fluorine chemical base in China, covering an area of 2 square kilometers. Zhejiang Juhua Sino-Russian Science and Technology Cooperation Park approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology is the only three Sino-Russian science and technology cooperation bases in China. The park is characterized by Sino-Russian scientific and technological cooperation, with the goal of building "China's fluorine capital", focusing on fluorine chemical industry, fine chemical industry, biochemical industry and electromechanical integration, and vigorously developing high-tech industries.

3. Zhejiang Qujiang Economic Development Zone.

It is a provincial economic development zone approved by the provincial government 199 1. The planned area is 10.5 square kilometers, and 6 .5 square kilometers have been developed. The leading industries are high-grade specialty paper, deep processing of agricultural products, processing of mechanical basic parts, electronics and clothing.

(2) Development parks of counties and cities

4. Zhejiang Jiangshan Economic Development Zone. It is a provincial economic development zone approved by the provincial government in August, 1994, located at the southern end of Jiangshan city. With a planned area of 36 .76 square kilometers, it is an emerging industrial base with the development of export-oriented economy as the main body. Leading industries: electromechanical, hardware, building materials, electronics, fire-fighting equipment, clothing, agricultural and sideline products processing, fine chemicals.

5. Zhejiang Longyou Industrial Park. Founded in April 2003. The leading industries are papermaking, clothing, biomedicine, machinery and electronics, fire-fighting equipment, crystal diamond ornaments and so on.

6. Zhejiang Changshan Industrial Park. In 2006, it was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission as a provincial economic development park. The planned area is 7 square kilometers and the built-up area is 3 square kilometers. The leading industries are machinery, textile and food processing.

7. Zhejiang Hua Kai Industrial Park. In 2006, it was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission as a provincial economic development park. The planned area is 15 km2, and the built-up area is 6.9 1 km2. The leading industries are monocrystalline silicon, silicone, pharmaceuticals (xylitol, fennel) and new materials.
