The master's degree program mainly carries out academic research in five directions:

1, cultural philosophy. This paper mainly studies the theory of cultural philosophy, makes a comparative study of Chinese and foreign cultural philosophies, inherits outstanding achievements, and constructs a Marxist cultural philosophy system.

2. Marxist philosophy and contemporary. It mainly studies Marxist philosophy and contemporary practice, Marxist philosophy and contemporary scientific and technological revolution, Marxist philosophy and contemporary ideological trend, and Marxist philosophy in China.

3. Political philosophy. This paper mainly studies the theory of political philosophy, summarizes the research results of political philosophy at home and abroad, opens up new fields of political philosophy research and builds a Marxist political philosophy system.

4. Modernity research. This paper mainly comments on various schools of modernity theory from the philosophical level, reflects on the relationship between modernity and post-modernity, forms the vision of pluralistic modernity, and provides reference for the social development of China in the era of globalization.

2. Western political philosophy. Understand the development vein and main achievements of western political philosophy, grasp the essence and development law of social and political life from the height of world outlook and historical view, conduct research around important and core concepts, problems, schools and even people, show the face of mainstream western political philosophy, and enter the forefront of western political philosophy theory.

3. Philosophy of language. Language Turn in the Development of Western Philosophy: Theory of Meaning and Reference; The meaning and confirmation of language; "image theory", "usage theory" and context; Behavioral response theory and speech act theory; Expression and understanding of language; Natural language syntax analysis; Logical analysis method.

China's Philosophy (0 10 102)

At present, there are 2 professors and 3 lecturers in this master's degree program, and academic research is mainly carried out in five directions:

(1) Research on Contemporary China's Cultural Philosophy. This paper discusses the essential characteristics, main representatives, evolution laws and their relationships of the main schools of contemporary China's cultural philosophy, such as the historical materialism of the mainland, the westernization of Taiwan and Hong Kong liberalism, and the contemporary neo-Confucianism.

(2) Confucian philosophy. The research scope includes pre-Qin Confucianism, Han Confucianism, Tang Confucian classics, Song and Ming Neo-Confucianism, contemporary Neo-Confucianism and so on. Reflect on the development history of Confucianism and examine how it merged with Taoism, Buddhism and western philosophy to present a new form.

(3) Taoist philosophy. This paper discusses the main connotation of Taoist thought in China's history and the real situation of its development and evolution, and studies the possible value and significance of Taoist philosophical thought in history and contemporary times.

(4) Comparison between China's political thought and Chinese and Western political philosophy.
