The High School Affiliated to Peking University Shenzhen Nanshan Branch was founded in May 2000. It is a basic education development project of the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Industry-Academic-Research Base, a tripartite cooperation between Peking University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the Shenzhen Municipal Government. It is a joint venture between the Nanshan District Education Bureau and the Shenzhen Municipal Government. It is a state-owned and private boarding school that integrates elementary school, junior high school and high school, jointly founded by the High School Affiliated to Peking University.
