What is the minimum standard for hourly workers in Beijing?
The hourly wage of part-time employees in Beijing shall not be lower than that in 6 yuan, and the minimum hourly wage for working on legal holidays shall not be lower than 13.3 yuan. The employing unit shall pay work-related injury insurance for part-time employees in accordance with relevant regulations.
According to the requirements of the Notice on Several Issues Concerning the Management of Part-time Employment in Beijing, the wages of part-time employees are calculated by the hour. Hourly wages include hourly labor remuneration paid by employers, social insurance premiums payable by part-time employees, and social insurance premiums and risk compensation paid by workers themselves. At the same time, the employer can pay the wages of part-time employees on a weekly or monthly basis.
If the employing unit deducts or delays the wages of part-time employees without reason, it shall pay them in full and pay economic compensation equivalent to 25% of their wages.
