College student village officials refer to fresh or previous college graduates with college education who go to rural areas (including communities) to serve as secretary of the village party branch, assistant to the director of the village Committee or other "two committees" in villages.

In March 2008, the Central Organization Department, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security jointly issued the Opinions on Selecting College Graduates to Work in Villages (Trial), and deployed the work of college student village officials in 3 1 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.

The work of university student village officials is an important strategic decision made by the CPC Central Committee since the 17th National Congress. Its main purpose is to train a large number of backbone talents for building a new socialist countryside, reserve talents for party and government cadres, and train outstanding talents for all walks of life. On May 30th, 20 14, the Central Organization Department held a national symposium on the work of university student village officials, which further clarified the orientation of the work of university student village officials.

Examination content:

The content of the college student village official exam varies from province to province. The written test subjects are basically administrative professional ability test, application, comprehensive ability quality and comprehensive ability test, including political theory and policy, basic knowledge of law, administrative knowledge, professional ethics, common knowledge of science and technology, grass-roots organization construction and village (neighborhood) autonomy, common knowledge of humanities and history, and official document processing and writing.

Recruitment conditions will vary from place to place:

I. Selection conditions

(a) XX (including counties and cities, municipal development zones) full-time college students with bachelor degree or above, as well as previous graduates.

(2) Good ideological and political quality, strong organizational discipline, and certain ability of organization and coordination;

(three) a down-to-earth style, hard-working, willing to contribute, and willing to work at the grassroots level;

(4) Not more than 30 years old and in good health.

Second, the selection work:

The macro guidance for selecting and transferring college graduates to serve in villages is led by the Central Organization Department, and jointly organized and implemented by the China Agricultural Office, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Agriculture, the State Forestry Administration, the the State Council Poverty Alleviation Office and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League. The recruitment work in all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) shall be organized by the personnel department of the Party committee and the government.
