Fujian Architectural Design and Research Institute was established in 1953, with Grade A qualification in engineering design (including architectural decoration, curtain wall, light steel structure, intelligence, lighting and fire protection design), Grade B qualification in engineering survey, urban planning and design, construction engineering consultation and supervision, general contracting, municipal industry, construction industry (civil air defense), environmental engineering and landscape architecture, and Grade B qualification in electric power industry (power transmission and transformation).
