Interpretation of the 2020 Entrance Examination Policy of Qiannan Normal University for Nationalities

Article 1 In order to standardize the enrollment behavior in accordance with the law and ensure the smooth progress of college entrance examination enrollment in our school, the Articles of Association are formulated in accordance with the Education Law of the People's Republic of China, the Higher Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the relevant provisions of the Ministry of Education and the actual enrollment work of ordinary colleges and universities in Guizhou Province.

Chapter III Institutions and Responsibilities

Article 6 The school shall set up a leading group for enrollment work, with the principal as the leader, the school leaders in charge of enrollment work and the secretary of the Disciplinary Committee as the deputy heads, and the heads of relevant departments as members to organize and lead the enrollment work of the school.

Article 7 The school enrollment and employment guidance office is a permanent institution for school enrollment and graduate employment guidance, and is specifically responsible for the daily work of college entrance examination enrollment.

Article 8 A school shall set up an enrollment supervision team to supervise the whole process of enrollment.

Chapter IV Access Rules

Ninth schools in accordance with the "school is responsible for the supervision of enrollment" admission system, the implementation of long-distance online admission. Follow the principles of "fair competition, fair selection, open procedures, comprehensive assessment of morality, intelligence and physique, comprehensive evaluation and merit-based admission", vigorously implement "sunshine enrollment" and select outstanding talents for the country and schools.

Article 10 In principle, the proportion of school investment is 100%. The provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) or types of plans that implement parallel volunteer's bidding model will receive and collect candidates who wish to file if they fail to complete their plans after the first round of bidding. In the provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) that have not implemented parallel volunteer's bidding, according to the bidding rules of the provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) where the students are located, our school will give priority to the candidates with the first choice. If the number of candidates with the first choice is insufficient, we will enroll the candidates with the second and third choices in turn.

Eleventh schools in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region shall be admitted according to the principle of professional priority (clear specialty). In the pilot province (city) of the comprehensive reform of the college entrance examination, it is admitted according to the relevant provisions of its college entrance examination reform plan. In other provinces, cities and districts, candidates' majors are determined according to the principle of "voluntary priority", and there is no differential requirement for professional arrangement, that is, candidates' professional volunteers are given priority, and they are admitted from high to low according to the order of professional volunteers reported by candidates and the number of enrollment plans of various majors in our school. Candidates with the same grades will be admitted according to the same sorting rules determined by the provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities). When the candidates' professional volunteers can't be satisfied, such as professional adjustment, according to the candidates' grades from high to low and related subjects, they will be transferred to the unfinished majors in our school. If the score is low or you don't obey the professional adjustment, you will be dismissed. Minority preparatory courses are enrolled in two categories: literature, history, science and engineering, and after one year, they are divided into majors according to the relevant regulations of our school.

Article 12 Candidates who apply for arts and sports majors in our school must take professional examinations and pass the examination before the cultural examination. Physical education requires boys to be1.67m tall and girls to be1.57m tall. Admission is based on comprehensive scores (comprehensive scores = cultural scores ÷2+ professional scores). If the comprehensive scores are the same, candidates with high professional and technical achievements will be given priority. Art majors require that culture be divided into online courses, and students are admitted from high to low according to the professional scores of the unified examination (or joint examination) in the province of origin. Art candidates with the same professional scores and high cultural scores are admitted. Those with the same cultural achievements will be admitted according to the sorting rules determined by the provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government).

Thirteenth professional admission does not limit the proportion of ethnic groups and men and women.

Fourteenth minority classes and minority preparatory courses only recruit minority students (minority bilingual preparatory courses must take the national common language examination and pass).

Article 15 English majors require candidates to take English as a foreign language and pass the oral English test. Other majors are not limited to foreign languages, and only college English is offered as a compulsory course for foreign languages after enrollment.

Article 16 Admission of past students and current students shall be treated equally.

Seventeenth candidates physical examination and professional reporting in accordance with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health, the China Disabled Persons' Federation issued in 2003, "Guiding Opinions on Physical Examination of College Admissions" and related supplementary provisions. After the freshmen enter the school, they should have a physical examination. Those who do not meet the requirements or find fraud will be disqualified and returned to their original places.

Chapter V Enrollment Plan and Specialty

Article 18 The enrollment plan for undergraduate and preparatory courses in our school in 2020 shall be based on the actual number of students issued by the Provincial Department of Education. For details, please visit our college's admissions website or refer to the 2020 catalogue of enrollment majors of colleges and universities in various provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions.

Article 19 Undergraduate students are enrolled in 28 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, and minority classes and minority preparatory courses are only enrolled in Guizhou Province.

Article 20 Undergraduate majors (including ethnic classes) are studied in the school headquarters (Duyun Campus), and ethnic minority preparatory courses are studied in Dushan Campus (Dushan University Town) of our school.

Twenty-first according to the broad categories of enrollment, all fill in the volunteers and admissions according to the broad categories, and issue admission notices according to the broad categories. Students will be diverted to this major after one year of enrollment.

Chapter VI Tuition and Accommodation

Twenty-second professional fees in our school are strictly in accordance with the charging items and standards approved by the competent price department of Guizhou Province.

Chapter VII Scholarships, National Student Loans and Work-study Programs

Twenty-third for the first choice or parallel volunteer for the first time (no first choice) admitted by our school, the school will give scholarships after admission.

General candidates: those who have obtained the scores of the first batch of undergraduate investment control scores in various provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) will be given full tuition scholarships for one academic year.

Art candidates: those who have obtained the second batch of control scores for general undergraduate courses in the province (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) in the college entrance examination, and whose artistic professional scores rank within 5% and 10% among qualified candidates in the same category in the province (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government), will be given full tuition scholarships for two academic years and one academic year respectively.

Sports candidates: those whose comprehensive scores are within 10% and 15% of qualified sports candidates in all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) will be given full tuition scholarships for two academic years and one academic year respectively.

Article 24 In order to encourage students to make positive progress, study hard and develop morally, intellectually, physically, aesthetically and laboriously, the school establishes study scholarships, professional scholarships and teachers' professional scholarships. Teachers' professional scholarships are issued monthly, study scholarships are reviewed once every semester, and special scholarships are reviewed once every academic year. At the same time, national scholarships, national inspirational scholarships and national grants are also awarded every academic year.

Twenty-fifth students with financial difficulties can apply for the national "student-origin credit student loan" with the admission notice to the student financial assistance management center affiliated to the local county-level education administrative department.

Twenty-sixth in order to ensure that students who study hard, have good comprehensive quality and have real difficulties in family economy can finish their studies, the school provides financial assistance to poor students through various channels, such as setting up work-study posts, social donation funds, and funds for poor students to take postgraduate entrance examinations.

Chapter VIII Graduation Certificate

Twenty-seventh students have completed all the courses according to the teaching plan, passed the examination and reached the required credits. They will be awarded the graduation certificate of Qiannan Normal University for Nationalities, which is recognized by the state and electronically registered by the Ministry of Education, and stamped with the official seal. Undergraduate students who meet the conditions for conferring degrees shall be awarded bachelor's degrees.

Chapter IX Supplementary Provisions

Article 28 In case of any conflict between the Articles of Association and national laws, regulations, rules and superior policies, the national laws, regulations, rules and superior policies shall prevail.
