Introduction of Chongqing Xiyong Comprehensive Bonded Zone

Chongqing Xiyong Comprehensive Bonded Zone is located in Xiyong Microelectronics Industrial Park, Shapingba District, Chongqing, and was established with the approval of the State Council on February 20 10. The planned area of the park is 10.3 square kilometer, which is divided into two blocks, A and B, which are connected by barrier-free passages in the park. It is the largest comprehensive bonded zone in China. Xiyong Comprehensive Bonded Zone will become an important platform for Chongqing to build an inland open highland. At present, the area has attracted a number of IT giants such as Hewlett-Packard, Foxconn, Inventec and Quanta to settle in one after another, which will help Chongqing become the largest processing trade base in the central and western regions. It is understood that the district will focus on building an export-oriented electronic information industry cluster. By the end of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan, the production capacity of more than 80 million notebook computers will be formed, including a number of related projects, with an output value of more than 500 billion yuan.
