19 15 July 18 was born in Shanhaiguan, Hebei province. Originally from Huaining County, Anhui Province.

1933- 1937 School of Electrical Engineering, Jiaotong University, bachelor degree.

1937- 1944 successively served as public engineer and deputy engineer of Nanjing power plant, Guiyang automobile repair shop and oil refinery.

1944- 1949 deputy engineer and engineer of Kunming electrical equipment factory and Shanghai electrical equipment factory.

1947- 1948 internship in Westinghouse electric company and other related factories.

1949- 1950 Head of Planning Team, Mechanical Department, East China Ministry of Industry.

195 1- 1952 Director of Shanghai Wusong Machinery Factory (now Shanghai Diesel Engine Factory).

1953- 1955 Director of Shanghai Comprehensive Design Department, No.1 Machinery Department and No.4 Bureau.

1956- 1958 was responsible for the establishment of power machinery research institute in the First Machinery Department, the Fourth Bureau, the Machinery Research Institute and the Third Bureau successively.

1958- 1969, deputy director, turbine and boiler research institute, Shanghai first machinery department.

1970- 1979 boiler research institute of Shanghai boiler works.

1979- 1985 vice president and chief engineer of Shanghai Power Generation Equipment Design and Research Institute, Ministry of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

1986 retired.
