2. Veterans who meet the educational and professional requirements of the 4102 civil servants in the "Civil Service Position List" can apply for national civil servants or 1653 local civil servants.
3. Veterans who apply for civil servants must meet the basic requirements for ordinary people to apply for civil servants, such as having a college degree or above. Therefore, if veterans also have a college degree or above, they can apply for civil servants.
4. Non-active military personnel can register as long as they meet basic conditions such as age, education and civil servant requirements. However, after demobilization, the state does not have specific preferential policies for veterans to apply for civil servants. 5. According to the Civil Servant Law of the People's Republic of China:
Article 26 The following persons shall not be employed as civil servants:< /p>
(1) Those who have received criminal punishment for crimes;
(2) Those who have been expelled from the party;
(3) Those who have been expelled from public office;
(4) Being listed as the target of the same punishment in accordance with the law due to breach of trust;
(5) Other circumstances under which civil servants are not allowed to be hired according to the law.

Article 31 Recruitment agencies shall determine candidates based on test scores and conduct examination qualification reviews, examinations and physical examinations.
The items and standards of the physical examination are determined according to the job requirements. Specific measures shall be formulated by the central civil service department in conjunction with the health administrative department of the State Council.
Article 32 The recruitment agency shall propose a list of personnel to be recruited based on the assessment results, investigation and physical examination results, and make it public. The publicity period shall be no less than five working days.
At the expiration of the publicity period, the central recruitment agency shall submit the list of candidates to the central civil service department for filing. Local recruitment agencies at all levels shall submit the list of personnel to the provincial and district civil servants authorities for review and approval.
Article 33 Civil servants in special positions may, with the approval of the civil service administrative department at or above the provincial level, simplify the assessment procedures or adopt other assessment measures.
Article 34 The probation period for newly appointed civil servants is one year. If the probation period has expired and the employee meets the conditions, the position will be taken by the employee; if the employee fails to meet the requirements, the position will be cancelled.
