Brief introduction of Hongshan town

Hongshan town is located in Wuxi Hi-tech Development Zone, in the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta. It borders Ehu Town in Xishan District in the east, Xiangcheng Development Zone in Suzhou in the south, Anzhen Town in Xishan District in the north, Meicun Town, Shuofang Street and Wangyuhe in the west. Hongshan town enjoys convenient land, sea and air transportation and belongs to Shanghai 1 hour economic circle. It is adjacent to the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in the south, Wuxi Airport in the west, National Highway 3 12 and passes through Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, Gan Xi Road and Dong Xi Avenue. The planned and under construction Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway, expressway-Zhangjiang, East trunk line, Taitai Highway and Donghuan Highway also pass through the town. In 2009, the town covered an area of 58.6 square kilometers and a population of 56,000. Administer 15 administrative villages and 3 community neighborhood committees.
