Status quo of graduates majoring in Internet of Things

Let's give a brief answer to the junior students majoring in Internet of Things. Although I haven't graduated yet, I am still familiar with the seniors in the same major, so I asked them about the status after graduation. The Internet of Things industry has the characteristics of long industrial chain and involving multiple industrial clusters, and its application scope covers almost all walks of life. That's why I chose it when I applied for a major.

Employment requirements and direction: This direction is the combination of software and hardware. Many electronic-related majors learn software and hardware themselves. We can only do software, hardware or both, but the older we get, the more popular we become. At present, when most graduates majoring in Internet of Things are looking for jobs, few of them directly sign up for Internet of Things companies, and most of them still go to companies such as automation and communication. Many companies are recruiting graduates majoring in Internet of Things, and the main requirements are still biased towards programmers.

The seniors who graduated from our major are employed in automation enterprises, smart home appliances, smart homes, industrial control enterprises, digital entertainment companies and other fields. The specific employment positions include radio frequency identification development engineers, embedded hardware development engineers of the Internet of Things, embedded hardware testing engineers of the Internet of Things and so on.
