Chifeng College covers an area of 780 mu, with a planned area of 1.800 mu and a building area of 2 1. 1.000 square meters.

With the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2003, Chifeng College is a multi-disciplinary undergraduate general institution of higher learning, which is formed by the merger of Chifeng Teachers College for Nationalities with a history of more than 50 years, Chifeng Education College, Chifeng Branch of Inner Mongolia Radio and Television University, Chifeng Health School and Inner Mongolia Kindergarten Normal School. In 2008, Chifeng Art Tourism School was merged into Chifeng College. The school is located in Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, the birthplace of the famous "Hongshan Culture".

The school has various professional laboratories, professional training rooms, computer centers, digital campus networks, gymnasiums, multi-function halls and other modern teaching and research facilities.
