Things to note when measuring wooden doors

Notes on measuring wooden doors

1. The door opening is required to be vertical without tilt, and the left and right wall stacks have the same thickness and are on a vertical end face; otherwise, the door may not be installed correctly as a whole, or the sleeve may be installed incorrectly. There may be gaps and uneven dimensions between the wire and the wall.

2. The surveyor will put forward corresponding rectification requirements based on the hole size measured on site, and ask the customer to confirm the production and installation of the hole size, and then the customer will implement the construction team to carry out the rectification and construction. Different series of door structures have different sizes, and it is necessary to pay attention to the boundary positions of different materials (floor to floor, floor to masonry strips) during ground construction. Avoid the phenomenon of two different materials being exposed on the floor where the door leaf lands.

3. If the thickness, width or height data of the customer's blank wall when measured are inconsistent with the standard combined dimensions, the customer's construction team should construct the finished door, board and masonry materials by themselves before entering the site for installation. Can be used for reorganization, such as adding/selecting and removing wall stacks, raising/lowering door openings, etc. Prevent the finished door from being installed smoothly.

4. If there is a height difference between the foyer and the kitchen and bathroom floors, the floor dimensions should be determined with the surveyor during the measurement and marked on the measurement sheet to prevent errors during installation. What is emphasized here is that the decoration horizontal line is the reference standard for the finished size of the ground and the actual height of the opening. Therefore, the decoration horizontal line must be clearly and accurately marked when measuring.

5. When installing the finished door, there must be a 10-25 mm installation glue gap between the cover plate and the opening installation end.
