Introduction to Zhongzhou Branch of China Aluminum Corporation of China

Chinalco Zhongzhou Branch (referred to as Chalco Zhongzhou Branch) is located in Jiaozuo, Henan Province. It is one of the six alumina production bases under Chinalco. Zhongzhou Branch was formerly known as Zhongzhou Aluminum Plant of China Great Wall Aluminum Company. After restructuring on December 11, 2001, its main part was listed in Hong Kong and New York along with Chalco, and currently has 4,549 employees. The first phase of the Zhongzhou Branch's designed annual production capacity of 200,000 tons of alumina started construction in 1987 and was completed and put into operation in 1993. The first phase of the project adopts the sintering alumina production process. Since the establishment of the factory, Zhongzhou Branch has continuously improved its production technology level and production scale through continuous technological transformation and expansion.
